The committee meetings (technical presentations, workshops, seminars and events) are typically held once each month at the Engineers Australia Victorian Office, Engineering House, Level 2, 21 Bedford Street, North Melbourne. Site visits are also arranged for projects of interest, and your suggestions are welcome.
Branch functions are open to all engineers and affiliates of any discipline or field. Branch meetings are an opportunity to meet other Structural Engineers and to learn about recent and important project developments and special interest issues. The meetings provide a forum for an exchange of professional ideas.
The Branch is the most effective avenue for structural engineers to influence the running of their professional society and contribute to the development of their profession.
Branch meetings and seminars provide a valuable source of information to engineering students, who are particularly welcome at all Branch activities. Concession rates apply for seminars and workshops.
